How to Take Care of Your Face

Many people complain about the condition of their face, especially females who always want to look good in public because a glowing face attract attention. The good news is, we make face care easy for you. Here are brilliant face care tips to get that glow you've always wanted.

1.    Facial Wash. Wash your face with warm water, three times a day, and gently massage it in circular motions, for it help to open up clog skin pores laced with dirt's. You can use a facial cleanser after the face wash but ensure that the cleanser contains alpha hydroxyl acid or beta hydroxyl acid for moisturizing and removing dead skin cells, treating acne and improving the appearance of acne scars, improving the appearance of photo-aged skin, and firming and smoothing skin. If you don't have facial cleanser at the moment you could improvise by applying sugarcane juice or lime/ lemon juice on your face and allowing to dry. This will fight many of the most common skin problems and leave your face feeling healthy and looking great.

2.    Moisturize Your Face. If you have dry skin, you  need to make sure that your face is getting the moisture it needs. Moisturizing  protect the layers of your skin underneath against crack from hydration and prevent bacteria. Use a gentle moisturizer to keep your skin feeling soft and glowing.

3.    Nourish Your Skin.     Just about every nutrient has a role in maintaining healthy skin. Vitamin C helps build collagen, the "scaffolding" between the tissues of our body. Poor intake of this vitamin can cause bruising, loss of skin strength and elasticity, and poor healing of cuts and scrapes. Just one daily glass of orange juice or a bowl of strawberries supplies all the vitamin C you need. Healthy skin also needs the B vitamins found in whole grains, milk and wheat germ to help speed wound healing and prevent dry, flaky or oily skin. Vitamin A in dark orange or green vegetables and fruits, egg yokes, and liver, maintains epithelial tissues such as skin, thus helping to prevent premature wrinkling or bumpy, sandpaper-like skin. Vitamin D in milk might help curb symptoms of psoriasis. Zinc in meat, seafood, and legumes aids in the healing of cuts and scrapes. Water keeps the skin moist and regulates normal function of the oil glands. The list of nutrients that benefit the skin is almost endless.

4.    Don't touch your face. Many people have bad habits of messing with acne or leaning their face on their hands. Your hands have oils on them that will clog pores, increasing blemishes. No matter how tempting it might be, don't pop pimples or interfere with anything facial- though it may seem like it will make it better, it actually makes it much worse and instead of dealing with a two day pimple you now have a two week long project. A tip here is changing your pillowcase often- the oils linger on the fabric, getting on your face during the night.

5.    Drink Plenty of Water. Your body needs plenty of hydration during the day to keep removing wastes and oils from your face. You should probably drink eight glasses of water a day.

6.    Sun Protection.
Many of the skincare product we use doesn't protect our skin from the burning sun of Africa which accelerate skin aging, making you look older than your age.
Whatever the season, choose daily skincare products that include solar filters. They reduce the harmful effects of the sun, which accelerates skin ageing.

If you keep to our blog your facial and skin problem will be taking care-of.

How to Grow Hair Faster and Longer

Growing the African hair has been a problem for many ladies who are often face with the problem of broken hairs making it impossible to grow long hairs. Growing your hair can be fun if you know your hair type and set good goals( We shall through more light on hair type for the benefit of those who don't truly know their hair type). African hair is often fragile from lack of moisture or nutrients, or from overexposure to chemicals. Nourish your hair with oils, and other treatments to keep your hair strong enough to grow long without breaking.
The following steps shows how to maintain and grow your desired hair.

1.    Washing of hair. Washing hair too often strips it of natural oils. Try washing it once in two weeks and observe if it still  break much.
  • Try to find a shampoo that doesn't leave your hair feeling too dry.
  • To reduce damage, wash hair in lukewarm water and rinse in cool water.
2.     Let hair dry on its own. Many, after washing their hair apply the service of a hand dryer to dry their hair. What they don't know is that the heat from blow drying can cause damage, leading your hair to break before it grows to the desired length. Instead, plait your hair, wrap it in a silk scarf, and let dry overnight. Alternatively, towel dry your hair by wrapping it in a towel and simply rubbing your head for a while.

3.    Use conditioner each time you wash. Shampoo strips your hair of natural oils. Restore these with conditioner suited for your hair type. Periodically deep condition your hair as well.
  • You can use leave-in conditioner in between washes.

4.    Apply hair oil daily. Rub natural oil into the middle and ends of your hair to make it soft and supple. This will help prevent it breaking before it grows too long. Jamaican oil, castor oil, Moroccan oil, or lavender oil are all good options.
  • Covering your hair with a satin scarf can help your hair take in the oil.

5.    Moisturize your hair. Water strengthens dry hair and may stimulate your hair roots. You can apply water, moisturizing conditioner, or a mixture of half olive oil or half coconut oil. For extra moisture, apply each one, in that order. The oil will help seal in the moisture.
  • If you use gel or mousse in your hairstyle, try hair jam instead. This will hold your hair, then eventually melt into oils to add shine and moisture.
6.    Consider protein conditioner. These can strengthen some types of hair, but may damage dry hair. Try brushing your hair: if your strands stretch significantly before breaking, you may need more protein.
  • Protein conditioner should not be left longer than instructed time on the label, or it may turn hard and brittle.
7.    Grease your scalp . About every other day or when your scalp feels dry, apply coconut grease to the tip of your pointer finger. Apply at the top of your part and sweep back until all the grease has been applied.
  • Stop if you notice dandruff, as oil can feed the fungus that causes it.
  • If you have a perm, grease only once a week, or apply hot oil instead.
8.    Remove products with neutralizing shampoo. Once a month, use a neutralizing shampoo to clean all products out of your hair. If you use a lot of sprays, gels, and other styling products, use it every other week.

9.    Proteinous  diet. Diet mainly of protein has proofing to be a great enhancer to hair growth. Eating proteinous food like beans, fish etc help in strengthening the hair. List i forget, drink 4 to 5 litre of water daily to help rejuvenate the hair.
